John Daly Sings At PTN Event

Posted on 23. Jun, 2010 by in Network Marketing, Network Marketing/MLM Articles, Random Thoughts

If you have been around network marketing for any length of time, it’s likely that you have been to some cool events.  The industry is known for them.  That’s what we do in MLM…put on awesome, empowering events.

There is one company taking things to a whole new level…and they have figured out how to cross the threshold of mainstream marketing and branding.  How about professional golfer John Daly doing an impromptu live performance of Knocking On Heaven’s Door at your event.  I know, crazy good.

Check out this event in Dallas, TX for a company that is…get this…still in Pre-launch.  If they are pulling off these kind of events in Pre-launch…what is possible in a year, two years, five years?

    Keith,

The John Daly video was great. Thanks for sharing! BTW, you are right…………….we are having a blast making money with ptn!

Not a guy I’d want reppin my company or one I’d ever associate with. Guys that are alcoholics, quitters and have gambling problems are pretty shameful. He’s one trashy dude.

Wow Mike…a lot of judgment there. It’s easy to vilify celebrities as their entire lives are on display. There is no arguing John has had his demons. At least he is real about them…which is why he has always been one of the most popular golfers with the fans.

You may or may not know how 2010 has gone for him. All I know is when I saw him I actually had to ask someone who he was. He is down over 100 pounds, doesn’t drink a drop of alcohol and is an incredibly nice, approachable guy.

Here is an article about what he has been up to this year:

This event was to raise money for one of the charities he supports – the Make A Wish Foundation.

While I live a life full of personal vices and imperfect choices, I certainly won’t judge others for theirs.

If you’d like to trust a guy with his track record, then have at it. The facts are the facts. The guy has been blessed with a talent very few will ever have and in return has become all the above, a multiple time loser that now after “30 years” of problems is “finally” coming clean. I’m 52 years old, have a wife and 2 kids and I’d “never” associate my family with something he’s involved in. I’d also never disrespect my life like he has. My judgment is warranted as is my opinion about a guy I consider a loser. If is looks like a bum, smells like a bum, its a…..(drum roll please)……a BUM! In closing, just an opinion and best of luck.

PS….this is what he’s was doing “less” than 2 years ago. My kinda guy….lol ;)

I hear you Mike and thanks for the interaction. I suppose I am just a bit more tolerant of it all. I’ve met him and appreciate his personality…regardless of whether I agree with all of his actions.

You speak as though his talent was just given to him. Anyone with any level of success in anything knows that isn’t true. At that level, you have to work your ass off.

Hey, no worries. I appreciate your thoughts. John isn’t a rep for PTN, isn’t running the company and isn’t a spokesperson. We all got together to raise some money for charity and have a good time.

That sounds pretty good to me. But what do I know. I drink, I play poker, stay out late sometimes and occasionally swear. :)

    Great to chat Mike.

Cool stuff. PTN like life attracts all kinds but in particular the fun loving and I agree…tolerant.

Great comments and wisdom. Great to be working with the likes of you.

John “We Are Tolerant Of His Behavior” Daly

Two-time PGA major champ John Daly gambled away between $50 and $60 million in career earnings, according to his 2006 autobiography. Daly once lost $1.65 million in five hours playing the slot machines at a casino. If you think that’s impressive, there’s more. Daly blew $1.2 million in a mere two hours and 30 minutes at a casino in Las Vegas. He just had his $1.6 million house foreclosed on. Did Daly quit gambling after blowing so much cash at the casino tables? Not by a long shot. Instead, he decided to downgrade from the $5,000 slot machines to the $100 and $500 machines. It looks in John Daly’s world, that is considered sound financial planning.

    Keith –

Cool post man! John Daly is the man… he does more than most and we all know he does not have to… even though it’s true he has not made a cut in weeks.

    Keeping it real!
